Using yoga as part of therapy can be a meaningful way to help you understand the connection between your emotions, your sensations in your body and your reactions and responses. Many of the people I work with and have met have learned to “store” their emotions in their bodies as stomach aches, tight muscles, and nervous energy. Through yoga we can help to unlock these sensations and learn what they are connected to. No yoga experience or fitness level is necessary to take advantage of using yoga in therapy.
